Good set for learning, playing with, or giving away fountain pens.
Of the 12 pens, 10 are good colours that are easily visible on normal paper. The tips are fine point steel, so they don't leave wide splashes of colour. The yellow is next to impossible to see on any paper I've tried it upon so far, so they probably shouldn't have bothered. Orange is readable, but very faint. Of all 12 pens, only one had any sort of hard starting issue, the rest were good flowing within a second or two. I've never used a fountain pen prior to this and love the fact that these are disposable ones so I get a lot of colors to use and can decide by using these if I even like writing with a fountain pen before I invest in a better one [which I do love writing with them, by the way!]
The yellow and orange colors didn't show up very well [especially the yellow] on white paper but that is to be expected, I guess. The rest are fabulous! Great everyday pen.
If you love fountain pens but are afraid to use you very good ones at work (I lose pens all the time and last year dropped my 51), these pens are great. The write smoothly, the colors are vibrant, and the nib never dries out. I've bought cheap Chinese pens and even though they look good, they don't write well and always dry out.
Unless you doodle, the light colors are useless (you can a pack of all black or blue) but these are my everyday go to pens. If I lose one, it's no big deal.Read full review...

Ink colors in disposable fountain pens.
Yellow fountain pen ink. Gel inks are orange hues. Greta would not approve of plastic. Not re-fillable. I enjoy using fountain pens and ink.

These pens are really nice and fancy looking but if you want them for color coding school or work notes, I don't really recommend because if the tip of the pen isn't moved off quickly enough from the paper, it will bleed through. This is about the coolest thing ever
Fountain pens that have about half a gallon of ink in them! OK, actually 3-5 milliliters maybe (not sure) but it's a LOT.
I've only just gotten these today, so as to the quality, I can only say that they write instantly and the (fine point) nibs write very smoothly.
