Don't waste your time or money. No longer a Geshe and doesn't know Yoga

The author, going thru a period of grandiosity wrote this book during a retreat in which he broke his vows, elevated the object of his desire to "Goddess" and led to the death of a mentally ill young man. Sad but true, the author was later defrocked and dismissed by the Dalai Lama. No doubt the author's knowledge and ability to read Tibetan Buddhist texts, but he clearly lacked the insight, permission and pith instructions to present these materials, which do not represent the extensive and complete path of Tibetan Yoga. It's an interesting remnant of a very regrettable time and distorted self concept.

Even from the standpoint of the Hatha yoga tradition this is superficial. It is basically his conjecture and piecing together of somethings he became fascinated with. In a limited way he presents the first few postures of Suryanama, it will leave you wanting and disappointed.
