Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11

As a long time user of EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA for Xbox, I found this version interesting in many way but not much different then previous version. The main attraction of a new version of this software is new functionallities that provide a challenge for Electronic Golf enthousias.
This version provides in my case, the elimination of Hank Heany comments and punitive actions although you beat the the best in a round and get penalized in your overall performance. This gone, you now work in a point system that appears to be much more honest to the game play.
As for the new methods of addressing and hitting the ball, this version makes you work on relearning the game and provides the challenge to make the game interesting for a long time player. The graphics are different but I can't put my finger on what different between version 10 and 11. I'm sure I'll spend may hours of pleasure trying to beat the best at this electronic game!Read full review...

Good game, better played by yourself more complex gameplay then old ones

Overall a good game. The graphics are pretty good. The gameplay is a little difficult. The gameplay does allow you to do many things on the course that were not in the older versions of the game. The customization of your character is pretty good. Lots of different things to do with your character, the one thing that does suck is clothes and clubs cost a lot of xp points. I miss the game mode where you play against made up characters as well as legends of the game on their home courses. Great Man

I havent played a Tiger Woods game since I played the crap out of Tiger Woods 2006. I remember putting at least 200hrs on that game. I would stay up half the night playing on Live. Once you get hooked on the game its hard to change your mindset to play any other game. Plus Tiger Woods has been raked through the coals this past year. The man was on the road all the time having women throw themselves at him, what man could turn down hot women after hot women. The guy is a multi millionaire who has it all. Its too bad for the children in the Family. If he was going to play the field so much he needed to cover his tracks better. Sometimes even the greatest in the OPP game get caught. TW PGA 360 11

Takes to long to get player loaded to compete with other player who have had the game longer. Has some good features as does each new year the game comes out. I am a avid TW gamer and play it almost every day. I like the 2010 verson much better, however have only had 11 for a couple of months. All in all I give this game a 7 out of 10.Read full review...

i first started playing the tiger woods game this summer. i first played the '09 version i was a little skeptical at first thinking how fun can a golf game be? the answer really fun. i could play this game for hours and not get bored.
this '11 version is definately the best tiger woods game yet. with the new focus feature it really does make the game more of a challenege and learn to use stradegy more then ever and the graphics are crazy good. a must buy especially for sports gamersRead full review...

Great game, if you like the Tiger/PGA franchise....

I decided to buy this game because I had Tiger Woods 08, and wanted the newest version. This game is a good game if you like the other Tiger Woods' games. The new 2011 version will be out within a few months so if you can, just wait for it....but if you are like me and get rained out from the golf course every weekend, and need your golf fix, go out and get this game!!!!Read full review...

As EA does very well, they've made this game better than last year. With all the new features and the new Ryder Cup, it's even cooler than the previous versions. Although it's much harder. Would definitely recommend this series to any golf fanatic.Read full review...

Great game and very affordable.

I knew the 12 was coming out, but I didnt have the pocket book to shell out 60 bucks. So I downgraded to 11. I paid 22 bucks for it, and it has been worth every penny.

My problems with golf games before was the inconsistency of play especially putting... but I have yet to say to myself, wow the game jacked me there... If I miss a putt I can say, I didnt hit it hard enough, I needed read the green, etc...

If you like golf, and don't want to spend a fortune, this is a great game. Though 12 looks amazing too, this game can hold its own.Read full review...
