Curls Rock Amplifier is perfect for Fine Hair

This works GREAT on fine hair! I just use about a quarter size or less drop of the gel, rub it slightly into my palms and work it through my hair. If I want more volume, I just repeat another round or 2 of that until I get the effect I want. Depends on how dry or humid it is, and if my hair is freshly washed or on day 2 or 3 after washing.
So many products weigh my hair down, and this doesn't. I have a lot of hair, but it is baby fine, and not everything works for me.Read full review

This is not the same as the original version, doesn’t hold or define curl as good as the original version. Wind blown hair = Total Frizz!!

I have curly hair which can be silky smooth straight with just a blow dryer and brush. No flat iron needed. So, regarding the reverse, maintaining the curl, I need a strong hold product. Yes, it does leave the curls crunchy but they stay curly and defined all day. I have used this product for about 20 years and have tried many, many others. This product is great for handling frizz! I used to use a gel and hairspray among others to keep my frizzy curls from looking like clown hair! My secret weapon for straight hair on a humid day

I have that wavy hair that can be manipulated into curly hair or easily blow dried straight. Until very recently I have been reserving this for days that were too humid to be controlled by other products. I applied this to my hair expecting to wear my hair curly.
