A great aid for Dyslexics

This was recommended to me by a specialist Dyslexia school. You have to get the agreement of the person you're working with first - in my case, my son - to do 20 minutes every single day and you have to be rigid about sticking to the instructions. It's quite a commitment. My 11 year old son was prepared to do anything that would improve his reading. The interesting thing for me was seeing the pattern to his errors and then, in only a few days, watching his accuracy improve and his ability to self correct kick in. It's early days for us, but it certainly seems worth giving a go.Read full review...

Very useful tool for consolidating reading skills and filling gaps in learning.

This came highly recommended to me as an aid to improve my 9 year old daughters reading after the gaps in her learning had been analysed. So far it is working very well though not inspiring context. We have come to the agreement that she will do about 20 minutes a day in order to make her school work easier this coming term.
I am a Primary teacher and have never heard of this before but wish I had.

Excellent book, easy to understand and use

I bought this item to use with some children that I work with who has dyslexia. I like the fact that it is in section and they have to complete it to a satisfactory level before moving onto the next. They can also see how well they are progressing and what they are finding difficult and therefore need to work on. I would defiantly buy this book again and have also recommended it to others who's children have found it difficult leaning their phonics the standardised way.Read full review...

At last an amazing book to teach the rules for reading and spelling.

At last an amazing book to teach the rules for reading and spelling. I bought this book for my Grandson who is Dyslexic and falling behind with school. He has now gone up 2 reading levels in 2 month and the school now uses the toe by toe with poor readers. Thanks for all your hard work on writing the book.

I also have the Stride Ahead and think it is amazing. I am learning how to teach things I take for granted.
