Excellent hot knife

Not purchased as a soldering iron, but I guess it'd work for things needing a lot of heat (utterly unsuited to electronics type work).

I bought it as a hot knife and a plastic 'welder'. Very good for cutting rope, and works nicely for dealing with cracked plastic. I have a hot air plastic welder, but this is really good for zipping up cracked plastic (particularly on cars).Read full review...
