Great for hobby use cutting foam board
For the price, the product works as it should. I have been using it to cut hard foam board for model scenery. By taking your time and not forcing it, it works as expected. It heats up reasonably quickly and will cut 50mm foam board at rate of 1 to 3 centimeters a second with the knife and a little faster with the wire.
If you want a product to "slice like through soft butter", then this product is not for you. Spend 10x more on something else.

This product is rubbish.
It is poorly made, its not a tool but a $2.00 show bag toy for a child. I used it once to try and cut down a poly box and its broken already. I could have cut up the box with a bread knife better. I didnt read the reviews prior to purchase, and now regret the purchase.The product is poorly designed and constructed. I dont normally write bad reviews, but usually prefer to move on with life but this product is terrible and I have to say something for other potential purchasers.
