True Blood Series
Very minimal series I can watch due to my work schedules. However, I read the books by this author and was so glued. I must say the series as well was so awesome like books could not stop watching as other reviews mention. No commercials was great. I laughed, cried, found myself shouting at times and could not wait to see what happened next. Worth every penny on ebay offer for new compared to store price offerings. Every character whom I was not too familiar with, and I would say most, were extremely entertaining and played roles so well. I would not recommend this to young adults due to much sexual contents, I would say adult parent should watch first and make the appropriate decision.Read full review...

DVD collection
The box for the DVDs had a little wear and tear on it and a couple of the DVD cases had small broken areas on them, also several DVDs cases were broken were the DVD attached to the DVD case, also a bunch of the DVD's have a cloudy circle near the edge of the DVD and 2 DVDs have scratches on them and 2 of my cases are broken on inside. Heavyweight writing and characterization with humor scattered throughout
First of all, I got my boxed set of "True Blood" before the date they said I'd get it, so that's a plus! Secondly, the writing and acting in this series is seriously excellent! Every character was written and performed with so much depth that you almost forget you're watching a series about vampires! Then, just when you think an episode is over--boom! Cliff-hanger! I binged and rarely slept for days all while working from home! (I almost had to re-introduce myself to my husband!) Love, love, love it! I'll give it a couple of months then watch it all over again! Good Quality but - no continuous play and too many disks.
While I am happy with the DVD's in general, please be aware that they have 2 episodes per disk and have no way to continuously play. If that doesn't matter to you then the price is definitely great and the quality is as well. We bought these to watch while we are working in the shop/office so continuous episode play and not constantly inserting disks is important to us.
