If anyone had said to me 6 months ago that I would become intrigued by a vampire TV series I would have scoffed vehemently. No way! However, that is exactly the case. I'm really into this series starring Anna Paquin (who played the little girl in The Piano, a favourite movie of mine starring Holly Hunter). Set in the Deep South of the USA in the town of Bon Temps the characters are very colourful and the story lines quite gripping. We get to meet not only vampires but werewolves, shifters, witches and faeries with the odd demon thrown in.

I was thrilled to receive these supposedly new discs but 3 out of the five were marked and so they froze when I played them and I had to skip bits to get past the problem. I could not remove the marks.Read full review...
