Trumpeter 1/35 Morser Karl Gerat 040/041
Fantastic kit, represents it's subject very well, can be built OOB, no need for extra aftermarket. Definitely not a beginners kit, due to relative complexity. At least basic modelling skills (and patience) required.
Trumpeter has included both early and late parts, including both complete undercarriage setups and (relatively good looking rubber) tracks, short and long mortar barrels, and an example of each style of round to be fired, in turned aluminium. Lovely!
Comes with more plastic ammo and some crew too.
Lots of parts, fit seems good. No flash on my example. Trumpeter only really dropped the ball on this one by conveniently placing some ejector pin marks on pieces where they will require clean up, lest they be seen on your finished model. But definitely not "unbuildable"...
If your looking for a decent sized centrepiece armour/artillery model for your collection without having to resort to a railway gun like Leopold or Dora, then this is the model for you!Read full review...
