This is a powerful vacuum cleaner . The filter collects the vast majority of the debris but a little low on the very fine dust. I borrowed a smaller unit from my tiler and it is less powered but has a fine paper element . Everything is a compromise.

Ngl, this vacuum sucks... And boy does it suck. It arrived within 4 business days, and once it arrived, I've never been more excited to clean the house. It was picking things up that my old vacuum couldn't.
Small things were confusing, like what the small chain attached to the base was for (I end up taking it off cuz it was startung to annoy me dragging on the floor).
