Quality Multimeter

The UT139C uses 2 ceramic fuses. It can measure temperature, but only to the closest 1 degree. Fairly accurate too. It does True RMS AC voltage measurements. The NCV doesn't work that well, but it's fun to use though I wouldn't trust my life on it. Runs on 2 AAs. I like that, but it can only output around 2v on its diode tester (it claims to do 3.2v), so I doubt it can light white LEDs (but haven't tried it). The manual is in English and very well written. The continuity tester is latched (the buzz sound isn't scratchy), and very responsive. The display updates pretty quickly too >(3/sec). It has a bright white-ish back light. Overall, I highly recommended the UT-139C to anybody but the most serious professionals (The manual recommends that you measure 10A for no more than 10 seconds, with a 15 minute wait between tests). Great value for money

Build quality and finish is very decent for the money and has a huge number of measurement ranges/types. Display resolution is low and auto ranging isn't lightning fast but perfectly suited for quick, rough portable measurements in electronics.
