It’s a perfect weight, looks good does the job, apart from a small problem which should be addressed.
There’s a very sharp edge on the part where one needs to put your finger in to grab the tape. This is on both sides.
I scraped my fing very bad, it did bleed as the cut was quite deep.
I corrected the problem, using a good emery board to just gently file both sides
Took about 10 minutes, may leave a white score mark if you put a lot of pressure, I done mine gently then used a damp cloth to wipe it white sort of hid the score mark, same with some parts of the base.

This was a cheap product so didn't expect it to be great but as soon as I unpacked it, found that some of the ballast was escaping from the base. I had to glue and tape the base plate to help prevent this. It does, however, do the job if you don't mind making it dustproof first.Read full review...

Great dispenser for money!
Is a great buy for the money. Very heavy so doesn't move when using. The bit that goes in the middle of the sellotape is slightly smaller than my roll of tape so moves slightly but doesn't seem to affect use.

Cheap and breaks very easily
I originally thought this product was good until we actually came to use it, my young daughter went to get it and the bottom had cracked and proceeded to fall out, to which all the stuff inside that gives it the weight was all over our carpet and has also left stains on the carpet. Could be better.
The gap between the tape roll and the cutter is so close it is difficult to get your finger in to lift the tape prior to pulling and cutting. It also slides towards you when pulling the tape as it is not quite heavy enough.
If you have little fingers you might be OK with it, but if you have man's hands you should think of looking to get one with a bigger gap between the tape roll and the cutter.Read full review...
