This product was improperly advertised

1). The listing for this item stated that the battery was included. But there was no battery included in the shipment.

2). To work, this hand set phone requires registration to the Base Station, and after trying for several hours following the instructions from Vtech's website, I could not register the phone.

Had the seller stated this on his ebay listings, I would not have bought it.Read full review...

Good buy

I needed a quality, but inexpensive cordless phone with 3 recievers. I love some of the features of the Vtech ia5874. The reception is exceptional, as is voice quality. I love the features that can be programed into the phones. The shortfalls are that you can't "share" a call on the recievers. No instant party line, if desired. The other thing I miss is that one can't retrieve messages from the phone recievers, which was a convenience I was used to. The price was VERY good and overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Great phone for the money. Quick and easy features.

Excellent service however, I wanted a slimmer and lighter phone.

The Vtech phone set has done all that it has been asked to do. It is VERY reliable and gets a great signal anywhere in the house. The only thing I don't like about it that it doesn't have the hands free feature.Read full review...

Good phone

I like all the features of the phone. Wish it would answer when you pick up. Set up does seem a bit involved, but it's ok once you get the hang of it.

Best find ever

My mother is blinded. This is the phone she used before losing her eye sight.
Her phone died and she wasn't comfortable with anything we bought for her.
I figured I could find it on Ebay. And, bless God, there it was.

Good phone

This phone is pretty good. It has a really loud ringer and the volume is loud. I have to change the channel on all three of mine a lot. There is some static and every once in awhile it cuts out and you miss a few words in the conversation. I can however go a great distance before it cuts out.
