Very good cases
I am a professional photographer and after trialing the vanguard 53d for a number of months I ended up now owning 5 of differing sizes, some foam and with some padded dividers.
These cases are very well built and very strong. They have lasted for years and I can't see them failing for many yet, they get a very hard life with me. The latches are secure and the steel reinforced lock holes are really good. The 53D ( I have 2) have the wheels and again work really well. If I had to grumble about anything it would be the diameter of the wheels on these cases, they work fine on hard surfaces but are way too small for gravel or dirt and that is half of my use; but still easier than carrying them.
As a case study (no pun intended) my main case would weight about 35 kg and when I am transporting it into a job I also pile up as much as I can fit on the top of it , hooking things around the wheeling handle and anywhere else I can hang stuff and it copes just fine.
