I put a pair of these into an old Vintage VRS100. The previous owner had put some "Epiphone" pickups in but I suspect they were fake - very dull sounding.
These new pickups have a lovely clear, unforced sound, played clean. Great blues tones with a bit of overdrive. Alnico V pickups sound mid-boosted by comparison.
