VC97 Auto Range Multimeter
I really like this VC97 Auto Range Multimeter. It has all the features I wanted in a multimeter like a nice LCD display, automatic polarity and unit symbol display, over range display, low battery display, and many more features. I was looking for a meter that could measure up to 20 amps of current, this meter measures from 400uA to 20A in both AC and DC. I can test Capacitance, Frequency, Temperature, Diode and Continuity Tests, Voltage (AC and DC), Resistance. This meter is great, it does it all and then some. It comes with test leads, aligator clip test leads, temperature probe, owner manual, and a nice carrying case to put everything in.Read full review...

I'm a noobie to electronic tinkering, but I think this meter is pretty good. Large display which is nice. Would have been nicer if it lit up (why i knocked a star off my rating), but still easy enough to read. I thought the alligator clips attachment would would have the probes plug into them, but i guess the clips plug right into the meter itself. Great value
It's not a fluke. But its about 15% of the price. I love flukes but have broken too many (that's a me problem not a meter problem) and being an on the road tech for electric forklifts i break and lose things too often to justify the price. With these i can get the job done fine and keep a spare with me. I recommend them to people. Next time I'll buy one with bluetooth and a phone app to read it remotely. Read full review...
