Not very fun/yet very collectible

OK first off i gotta say That I am very forgiving of games and I love classic games and Saturn rpg's I also gotta say I did not finish this game The thing is I hated it. Now Its a rare title that is becoming harder and harder to find and yes its good for a collection but game play wise ohhh myyy goddd.and even though graohics do not make a game and i know this is way older the graphics are still horrible. now graphics do not mean anything but I think panzer dragoon zwei and saga,shineing the holy ark,dragonforce all have fantastic c graphics that help bring the story and gameplay to life I love these kind of games and the way they look but this one looks so bad! it was trying to be ahead of its time and in way it was but the world and technologies were not ready for this game. It had big imagination but nothing to back it up everything looks the same always and what you see is very blurred and ugly,brown and down right depressing in my eyes and gameplay wise I did not find anything special at all. That being said ill say this the fact that the game renders new areas everytime you play is amazing and ahead of it's time. but if ur looking for a great rpg adventure.. run!!!

Virtual Hydlide

This game is very good. The graphics are good for the time, but by today's standards they're a little icky. The score is excellent and sets the mood for the atmosphere. It is a great addition for any avid Sega Saturn collector or videogame collector in general. I highly recommend it to any RPG fan who owns a Sega Saturn!Read full review...
