Wasn't sure what to expact

These glasses are really just glorified Google cardboard holders. They are a plastic version of a holder for your cell phone. The trick is that the lenses in them allow you to focus on two images coming from your cell phone. The images come from software that separates one scene into scenes. This is rudimentary VR, but it has some nice entertainment value.
Don't expect that the images will be realistic. They are just rendered versions of things like roller coaster rides or fish under the sea swimming around.
If you are not tech savvy you will have trouble setting this up, but if you are an average or better techie, probably no issues.
Just go ahead and open up the package. Inside are the goggles and a rechargeable bluetooth game controller. This is to allow you to navigate your phone screen without removing the phone from the viewer case. It was "iffy", so I just started the app on the phone, then slid the phone into the viewer. I took it out when I was done viewing. Clunky, but it works.
The slides on the top of the viewer will allow you to change the pupil distance as well as the focus, one for each eye.
The documentation is almost non-existent, but it doesn't need to be that much.
I think it's a good intro to VR, since it is so cheap. The phone I used is a Samsung Note 3. It fits perfectly in the slide-in insert. Without the insert, I can snugly fit the phone with an otter box in and it holds in place tightly. Your mileage will vary depending on your phone.

by TOP CRITICAL REVIEW

its, ok.... you should read this first before buying...

this product is great for what its made for, but the lens's are of terrible quality, makes the phone look blurry no matter what, might be my 20/15 vision, but either way.

as for the build quality its definitely on the cheap side, but it works, the only issue i had was you can turn your head fast, or the phone will pop out on the slider and may fall out of the slider

so i went with a 3 out of 5 for that, its useful, cheap, but feels cheap, i had to use a hunk of velcro just to keep my phone inside while in use

Not worth it!

You get what you pay for. I knew that this wasn't going to be one the best VR headset out there, but I just wanted something simple to watch movies. This headset couldn't even give that. Even with lens adjustments, the screen was extremely distorted. The left side overlaped the right side and vise versa. Nothing I did fixed that. I tried adjusting my phone side to side, and moving the lens. Do not waste your money on this product, I know it's cheap, but it's junk that doesn't even work.Read full review

once again you get what you pay for

Virtually, (pardon the expression) no instructions.
came in with lens disconnected. fixed that but range of adjustment is almost non existant. Finally got the remote to pair up but it wont function at all. Once paired, I try to use the mouse function and Nothing? press on any of the other buttons and it seems to go to that mode but does absolutely nothing.
Did I mention NO INSTRUCTIONS?
this is the instructions
turn on your smart phone, insert into goggles, enjoy ! Yep that's it...
I realize it was only a few bucks but I could have had a happy meal instead. Don't waste your money. Not even worth shipping back.
Donating it to somebody, maybe regift !! For that special someone you cant stand.

Muliligual Interface

Product is a nice unit yet it lacks a multilingual interface. Where a user can use his/her native language on demand. Other than that, a fine product. Good job!

Eyepiece is comfortable and they work great, I used an old phone I had in a drawer that fit great and the screen looks fantastic. I also found an app on line that turns any video you have into a VR video. AND the remote works with my phone which is an LG.Read full review

You get what you pay for

I expected this to be more immersive. I guess you can't expect too much from such a low priced item. I had light leaking in under the nose opening. A piece snapped of with very little force applied, phone can fall out easily, I'm guessing it would be a better experience with the 6 or 6plus. I was using a 6s. Remote did nothing but mute the volume. Very disappointing. Can't play any games this way and you must take your phone out each time to change apps. Save your money and buy something of better quality. Read full review

VR Box 1

Excellent intro to VR products and very affordable. Not quite the immersiveness compared to the top rated options (much more expensive VR units), and the remote is necessary when purchasing this product.

Enjoying my VR Box greatly
