Neutral Density Filter Produces an 'X' ND Effect.

The ND filter effect does not cover the entire lens. As the density ring is turned from Low to Max density the ND effect begins to appear as an 'X' on the camera screen and image. To get an image that does not have an 'X' ND effect the camera lens had to be zoomed-in to 6x times. Also had to use manual focusing to get a clear image.Read full review...

The filter works as designed. I mainly purchased it as a protective cover to a 18-55mm lens so that the primary lens wouldn't get scratched during normal use.

This filter is excellent! It protects my lens while cutting out glare. It saved my lens from a serious accident which resulted in a scratch, and therefore this is my second purchase of this particular UV filter.
