Rallying as it should be

This rally game actually does rallying the way it's supposed to be: go from point A to point B quicker than everyone else, not two laps around a track as with the Sega offering.
What I liked: I loved that they have every rally represented; Germany, GB,Sweden and even Monte Carlo ( there's more, I just don't have the entire schedule put to memory). Most recent titles have left off Monte Carlo, so it was nice to have that rally back on a sim.
What I didn't care so much for: They give you ghost cars so you know where you stand out on the course. I find them EXTREMELY distracting as I find myself focusing on them instead of the sharp corner coming up! And as far as I can tell, there's no way to turn them off.
And I found that the thing handles really badly. It may just be me, but i've played my fair share of rally sims and the two most difficult ones to steer were both WRC titles ( versus the Colin Mcrae games ).
So, out of 10, i'd give it a 7. It's good, but with a few common sense options that aren't there, it could have been higher.

pretty good

this is a pretty good rally racing game probably the best on psp environments looks good but the cars dont there isnt much variety in cars the game boasts 30 cars but its only about 5 brands and u get about 4 or 5 different variations of the cars which arent that much different some tracks are stressing because u will end up falling over the side alot due to lack of unbreakable barriers in critical places would have loved to see some more cars and actual cars while racing and not just ghost cars, some more modes like challenge would have been niceRead full review...

WRC: FIA World Rally Championship (PSP)

If you are still waiting for the PSP release of GT4, this is as close as you can get. This game has awsome graphic's and a multi-artist soundtrack. Beautiful back grounds as you race twisted dirt roads, gravel pavement, ice and snow and even rain storms at events all around the globe. This game will make you glad you decided to go with the PSP instead of the gameboy DS. If you love high tech racing this game is a must. If you have access to a wireless network the racing is un-limited...EnjoyRead full review...

Controls are touchy

The graphics are awesome but the controls drag the gameplay down. It's a mixed bag.

On Track

Excellent adaptation of the franchise to the PSP.. Bought it because Im a big rally fan and its(WRC) not on TV here in the US anymore so its a good substitute! Im also trying to get a good sized motorsport videogame collection together and this title is hard to find in stores....highly recommended!Read full review...

I absolutely love this game. It is so realistic for a handheld, and it is a true rally game. Sound, visual, and physics are all incredible. You will love this racer if you love rally games. Long live PSP!!!Read full review...

Not that great of a game

I was excited to try a rally car racing game, but the hype didn't live up to the game. The game play is bad and is overall a poor game to buy. Don't spend your money on this game, I repeat, don't waste your money.Read full review...
