Walthers solvaset
Some may say it is too strong, but if you need a decal solvent that will definately work, this ones it. I use it for setting decals by application when decal is in place. I like it, personally I feel there is nothing else like it on the market and one bottle will last years.Read full review

A must have product for any modeler, military, auto, or railroad.
I've been using this product for at least twenty years and would be lost without it. As long as you apply it to a gloss surface (you can use a flattening over-spray later to dull the finish) this will snug your decals right down over smooth or irregular surfaces for a professional looking appearance. It lasts forever, a bottle will keep you going for many many years. It's worth every cent, believe me.Read full review

A Decal Must.
Solvaset is must use for applying decals to any model in order to affix and to mold to any surface relief. Simple to brush on and a little goes a long way. it not only makes sure the decals are stuck to the surface once done positioning, but gentle brushing continues to soften the decal so that it molds itself to irregular surfaces, such a aircraft wing ribs and the curved wing edges, rivets, door joints etc.Read full review

Get better looking decal applications on all of your styrene models.
Allows decals to fit and abhear to painted or unpainted styrene surfaces, and reduces or eliminates air entrapment between decal and surfaces.

Decal Helper
Best decal setting solution I ever used, makes decals look like they are painted on to most projects when used correctly. One bottle goes a long way, no reason to drown decals to make them conform to rough surfaces.Read full review

PJ's review of walthers decal setter.
Hell yes I would recommend is decal setting solution this stuff really works it really sets the decals in place and really gets into all of the models surface and I just found out that if you use it in a small spray bottle you can cover a large area on any star trek model a specially if your working with the Aztec Hull Decals and in my opinion a lot better than the micro Sol solution
Very very very good Decal setting solution .Read full review

Good product
This is a really "Hot" decal setting solution. It will soften decals in a matter of seconds. It aids in making decals settle down around complex angles and curves, deep panel lines etc. Once you have applied this solution to the decal DONT TOUCH IT, if you do you will regret it. You will destroy the decal. I dont use any other system or product for setting decals. The decals look like they are painted on with this product. But like I said it is a "HOT" setting solution I do not recommend for novice modelers.Read full review

Heavy Duty Decal Setting Solution
This is the stuff you need if you're making you're own decals. It's stronger than the Microsol when used on decal paper that you've treated with Dullcote or some other sealer.

It makes water-slide decals snuggle down and conform to the underlying surface.
It is what I expected. I have used Solvaset before, so I know what it does and I know how to use it. I would not consider Solvaset to be "entertaining", but I do consider it to be necessary for finishing a model.Read full review
