Very well written heavily acoustic guitar music. This is such a wonderful cd, if you like Ben then you absolutely must get this and see how he got his early start (before the Innocent Criminals and now the Relentless 7 material). You'll be amazed at just how easy to listen to this disk is. As a special treat, the last track "I'll Rise" was written by the ex-presidential poet laureate Maya Angelou. Ben Harper is a wonderful artist, his music ranges from heartfelt to happily dismal, and all in between. Good stuff.....

Solid Album

This album is a great starting point for Music listeners new to Ben Harper (Where have you been?) I prefer his bluesy stuff but this is a very good album.
