Easy to open and I actually used the drive to replace my Apple AirPort Extreme Time Capsule 2TB. Now I can back up every Mac on my network and relieve my MacBooks 500GB drive from years of photos.

Runs fairly quiet. Runs warm, but not too extreme to create any issues.

If you want or need to do the same, always buy Western Digital external solutions. They are engineered with a lower power consumption then their desktop models and the AirPort handles the draw just fine.Read full review...
