I've seen the movie several times, and just had to read the book. Even though the movie captures the book as well a movie could possibly have done, the book gives you a chance to get much deeper into the psyche of the characters more than a movie can do. What Ever Happened To...

Imagine my surprise when I read that Baby Jane had dark hair and Blanche was the one with blonde hair. Heavens to Betsy!
And, I had hoped there would have been more of a description of the house they lived in. Remember in the movie, their house looked like it might have been some kind of Spanish decor, what with all the tiles on the floors and all the ornate furniture? But, alas, there wasn't a description at all like that.
