Every song is good on this CD

Favorite songbird Anne Murray has put together a can't miss 2 CD set with "What a Wonderful Christmas". It includes all the material from her 1981 "Christmas Wishes" and most of the songs from her 1988 "Christmas". Plus she has filled in a gap by adding the better known kiddie songs of Christmas in "Santa Medley" and the Rudolph/Frosty medley. Her style is upbeat throughout, yet she treats the religious songs with reverence. That could not be more true than on "Silent Night", a carol which could drag, but not her version. You get two uniquely Anne tunes, "Christmas in Killarney" and "Christmas Wishes", as well as outstanding renditions of "O Come All Ye Faithful", "I'll Be Home For Christmas", "Do You Hear What I Hear?", "It's Beginning of Look a Lot Like Christmas", and "Silver Bells". Although the liner notes are fairly standard, you'll find several highly flattering pictures of the singer. Christmas for all, Grandparents to Grandchildren

This is our Christmas CD that covers everyone in the family....from RUDOLPH THE REDNOSE REINDEER, to GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN, to LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW.
Grandparents and Grandchildren are happy.
Then we hear O HOLY NIGHT...and I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS .....and these are all sung by the one and only ANNE.

As you can surmise.....It does not get any better, etc.

More than expected

If you like Anne Murray you will love this CD. It has all you could want and more! I lost the Christmas Wishes album to hurricane Katrina and a friend suggested to replace it with this CD. I am so glad I did.Read full review...

I have always been a fan of this talented lady. Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without listening to this CD.
