Book good, shipping system sucks.

My wife borrowed this book from a friend and our cat damaged it. I tried to purchase this copy for replacement, but it got lost in shipping. my wife says the book is good, I have read the chapter for expectant fathers. The fathers chapter is apparently aimed at 18 to 20 year olds, since it is mainly common sense to anyone over a certain age. Overall I think the book is good and I would rated higher, but for my annoyance with ebay's faulty and slow shipping process.Read full review...

Giant book ! It's a good thing

I didn't expect the book to be as big as out is but it's filled with so many compelling information within every chapter. I found out about out from a blog from another man that was also a first time father once upon a time, aren't we all . Very very great book highly recommended . Thank you 🤗Read full review...

Content not so interesting :(

What to expect the first year was very good, this one not as good as the other one, e.g. some chapters are repeated!!

A must read for all first time parents

With my Grand-daughter expecting her first baby, she is full of questions. I am not able to be with her (I live 5 states away) but she calls me all the time. This book was a good resource for her during this new experience in her life. Thank you Heidi Murkoff for sharing this knowledge with the world.

What To Expect When You're Expecting

Book arrived in 2 days! In perfect condition.
Our son is military and he and his wife are expecting their first child in December. Since my daughter-in-law is away from her Mom, home, family and friends she is anxious and has a lot of questions. I have given this book several times over the past few years as a shower gift, because it was highly recommended. I have never read it myself as my children are grown, but others have told me it was their bible throughout their pregnancies. So, I sent this new updated 2008 version to my daughter-in-law and am sure she will find it very helpful.Read full review...

Interesting stuff.

I bought this as a gift for my niece & I was scrolling through it & found it very informative. I had my last kid in 2012. Never read it before. Definitely liked it. Good read, highly recommended.

The Calming Guide for a Nervous Mother to Be

This book was a great help to me when I was going through my first pregnancy, especially. It's scary watching your body go through so many changes, and constantly wondering if the little life inside of you is doing alright. The month by month chapters are a great help as your little one continues to grow inside of your tummy. Instead of calling the doctor all the time, and sounding like a crazy woman with every little change, you can just refer to this book which answers just about any question you could ever have. Even useful in the second and third pregnancy for me, (when you'd think I would be experienced), it always had an answer I could feel better about. It definitely is worth the money because you'll use it over and over again.Read full review...

One of the pregnancy "Bibles"!

With my first child in 2003, I purchased a used copy of What to Expect When You're Expecting from a book store and read it constantly. Thinking I would never have anymore children or at least anytime soon I gave it away. Well 5 years later here I am expecting and happy that they have decided to publish and updated version in the 4th Edition. This edition has a more current vocabulary and up to date clinical facts and suggestions. A must have for those who are expecting!Read full review...
