Bad Whirlpool Design
This is not the vendor's fault. The fault lies with Whirlpool in creating a product that is constantly breaking. The item is made of plastic and is used near a high heat source which causes the inner sleeve to break and thus needing to be replaced ever so often. Exact OEM match. Our stove is about 7 years old, and while I don't think the burner knobs Whirlpool uses are the greatest since they wore or broke in just a few years, at least these are exact replacements.
