Brilliant version, true to book, great acting and highly entertaining.

This is easily my favourite version of Wind in the Willows. The actors playing the parts of animals do a wonderful job and are supberb in their interpretations. Some of the scenes are simply unbeatable and the performance of the gaoler's daughter in particular is a sheer delight. The production is of high quality with great attention to detail and it captures the Edwardian flavour very well. Anyone who has read the book would agree that this film does it full justice. And as The Wind in the Willows is a ' much-loved book ', achieving this is no mean feat. Well done indeed.Read full review...

Excellent movie! Don't miss it!

This was purchased for my 92 year old mother in law's birthday, it is a very funny movie, and Matt Lucas as Toad plays an excellent part, in fact the role was made for him, she enjoyed it very much and it is a must see for children and adults alike!Read full review...
