Works, but needs a little help.
It fills the need for a wood lamp post but the quality and shape of the light hood is too flat. I had to install a sleeve of white polystyrene tube over the LED to make it less glaring. I also had to ream out the post extensions before I could insert the wires because of casting flash.
But they look good now on the layout.
The LED color is very good. I will run them off an existing 12 volt power supply (for many nearby lights) instead of the Woodland Scenics system, using a 1200 ohm resistor.Read full review...

Very realistic
These lights are easy to install but a little planning is needed to a completed layout very fine wire that is hard to strip the insulation off if you want to solder or need to extend a lead. Also even realistic but you need to use woodland scenics power supply and light hubs. I found out that once starting with this system you can’t use other led lights I tried did not go well. But these lights are great if you want to use this type of system.Read full review...

For my transition era layout!!!
This is just what I need. My layout will feature rural Idaho in the transition era. Street lights were wooden poles not fancy cast iron. I have checked these out and they look great when lit. The ability to dim the brightness is a great plus and what really sold me on these. They are spendy but my plywood central will be happy when these are installed.Read full review...

Woodland Scenics light ups light poles
This HO scale lighting is well-designed and works great. I bought a package for a diorama I am building (layout is down for the count right now due to changes in our space needs in the house). These as well as some of their building lights were used on one building/side of the street and they are GREAT looking- lighted or unlit! I like the whole system that Woodland Scenics has come out with, they really put thought into these. I have purchased some of their extender cables and wired my own LED lights into the system with great results. More lighting on my layout will use these lights to give night and day scenes better realism.Read full review...

Entertaining, durable and a great value.
These lights really make your dioramas pop!
Detailed but easy to understand installation.
Like eating potato chip, you can't have just one.

Just what I wanted! I got package of what I expected!
These are the closest match to the original lights/light poles in my hometown which I am in process of building a prototypical HO scale layout! Bought before and like very much!

Small wiring but puts out serious lighting!
I have bought several versions of their just plug lighting and I love them all mixing them up gives a different look like in most towns or cities not every light pole is the same they work great no complaints besides the wiring is a tad too small more like micro mini in a way.Read full review...

Perfice fit for my HO scale ICRR layout of late 1930s to mid-1940s
These are prototypes of lights in my hometown. I like them and they will line Sharpe and Central avenues on my HO scale ICRR layout!

light up the circuit
easier than wiring lights, just plug into adapter then into a light hub.
