Well made, worked immediately with very little sunlight
Great product for my pond that has no fountains or waterfalls. I don't have fish, only have newts and other aquatic life, I'm sure they will all enjoy the extra quality of clearer and more oxygenated water. Great little Pond Pump
Living in the United Kingdom and never having tried a solar powered device before I didn't have high hopes for how effective this product would be. It works like a dream even on a clear day that isn't necessarily hot. Obviously rain/thick/heavy clouds will greatly reduce or even totally stop the pump but it is Solar powered. The panel is the newer design and it comes with everything you need including small ground stake, air hose and air stone. Also it's virtually silent and at a bargain price too.Read full review...

A good little air pump, well made, at a good price
Having looked at a lot of solar powered air pumps and looked at the feed back, I decided to go for one of the cheaper models.
Even on quite cloudy days there is a good stream of bubbles being produced, but as soon as the sun comes out, Whow! the pump goes into manic mode and the fish love it.
The pump seems well made and is ok to stand out in the garden, but I stood mine on a piece of wood with a flower pot over it.
In bright sun, going flat out, the pump is more noisy, but for me it is acting as quite a good mole deterrent.
So all in all, a win, win situation. I highly recommend this little pump, long may keep pumping.Read full review...

Just does the job
Very Quiet, Cheap and Reliable, you barely notice it, solar is quite unobtrusive. Second one, first one was out in all weathers and lasted 3-4yrs, only reason it failed was abuse on my part, never touch it once and so the air intakes (which are on the bottom) got blocked with soil.Read full review...

small but powerful
Given that some reviews were disappointing I was not sure what to expect. But as soon as it was in the pond, even in the setting sun, it worked a treat. The pond had oily looking water, but within 2 hours it looked better. The pump seems to work well even in dull conditions, albeit at a slower rate. I hope it continues in the same manner. As others had suggested, I put the pump in a plastic container, with air holes and the pipe and power lead exiting from other holes. The whole thing was then covered by a ridge tile to keep the rain and sun off (accidentally providing a home for a frog!). Time will tell but so far so good. The pond in question is about 1.6m x 1.2m x 30cm deep, and the water circulates well with just the one airstone. Great little machine.Read full review...
