N64 -game: World Driver Championship

I haven`t got this particular title yet, but i owned same game few years ago. It`s a driving game similar to popular "Gran Turismo" with elements and features seen on some Toca -racing games as well as even "Ridge Racer" -games.
Actually, it`s a bit better than "GT" and certainly better than "GT64", albeit being lesser known game.
-Everything in "World Driver Championship" is as good if not better than other similar games released during late 90`s.
Some peoples did not like this game very much... Reasons might be rock music that is off -beat style, or perhaps heavy handling that is satisfying, but certainly unforgiving and even spinning on sharp corners where you need to turn while driving really fast. -These aren`t faults, but they are things that you either like or dislike.
Everyone will however like those hi -resolution graphics it has and impressive replays to watch. Also great career -mode, loads of teams and even more cars.
Great little gem is this racer that is rarely even seen sale anywhere as it has addicting potential so high, that every spring i miss this particular game as i remember how great experience it once was for me.

Good game! Great graphics for the time!

Very fun racing game and one of the better looking Nintendo 64 games. It took a while to get used to the controls, but after a little time I find myself coming in first place more and more. Looks pretty good in high res mode which is an option even without the expansion pack. If I'm not mistaken there is no race wheel compatibility with this game, but I'm not sure that any good wheels exist for the 64 anyway. Best racing game on the N64!

I bought this because I remember loving this when I was a kid. Could never find it in stores in stock back then, and it became harder to find as time went on.

Controls handle great. Plenty of options in game, and the added memory expansion gives the game a widescreen aspect which looks decent on modern tvs. Plenty of cars to choose from.

This is the Gran Tourismo of the N64. Can't find a better racer from that time.Read full review...

We love this game, because it can go to different places outside U.S., anybody that loves driving and racing games you'll love this one.
