Great GPS for very few Dollars

If you buy one of these, you will probably find it difficult to set up the Navigation option using the included instructions. But don't dismay, they send you a link to a youtube video which shows you how to get it going very simply. The unit is pretty easy to use and has a good range of functions and a clear, easy to read screen. Not sure whether the promise of free map updates will be forthcoming, but I guess I'll find out in due course. But at the price, you could afford to buy a new one every year or two and not worry about updates.Read full review

A good product to avoide

A friend told me that I would regret this when I told him that I had bought it. He was spot on. It is a complete piece of garbage. I gave it to the grandson of another friend since he enjoys taking things apart. He loves it. However, he is talking about all other options EXCEPT for the one that I bought it for - that is its GPS capability. The users manual is certainly written (not surprisingly) by a non-English speaker. We live in a country that uses metric - neither I or my friend found anywhere that provided the means to change from imperial to metric. And the tick-tock was just as useful. All in all, it can adequately be summed up as a complete waste of both money and time. I hope the grandson will enjoy it - he's too young to drive so therefore has little use for the so-called GPS ability.Read full review

Love the size and clarity. Voice volume is a bit too low. The screen attachment could be a bit bigger/longer. Overall it is quite good. How long it will last, who knows. For the price I think it’s a really good buy.Read full review

the gps address can not locate my house number, which is on the odd numbered side of the street. It does give the even side number correctly.
The map update, naviextra, is not compatible with xgody.

Bought to replace my old gps as I could not get any updates.
Once i got use to using the XGODY 7" I found a better product than
my old unit plus more features and I can get unlimited updates .

This is a good GPS except.

This unit falls short on being excellent with the omission of a vehicle speed on the map screen.
I personally think that if this basic function of showing vehicle speed would be a great safety feature.Read full review

Great value for money

This is my second Xgody GPS.
It works better than many more expensive navigators I have used.
A nice feature is the ability to enter multiple destinations in any order, one final destination and several waypoints. The navigator will work out a route between the points in a logical sequence, and calculate the total time for the whole trip.
The height limit feature does not work so well on Australian maps, because the map data does not appear to include height information.Read full review

Not complete good..

Is not good so far.
Is the supposed size and model.I may need to update the maps, as the was a new road it didn't catch.also voice is not working .

The reverse camera will take a bit to.install as need time to do it my self. Hopefully will be ok.

In my opinion; the best GPS one can get for your money!

Good value for its price ; works well ; I have had units 2 to 3 times its cost but this product is certainly not 50% in performance!

Screen could be brighter and more sensitive but all things considered, still very good value.

Looses GPS Signals around the CBD but so did my previous units.
