I purchased this GPS in Dec 2020 to replace a previous GPS unit that was about 10 years old and difficult to find map updates for.

The XGODY GPS could not locate satellites when installed in the car, hand held standing out in open ground it could sometimes locate 3 Satellites, no matter where it was placed in the vehicle it would just search continuously for Satellites that it never found.

A complete failure and waste of money, I can't even find anyone I dislike enough to give it too, and I am still using the old GPS and suffer the "Recalculating" messages when I travel roads that didn't exist when its maps expired, still better than a new one that does not work!Read full review...

really good product and really good value for money

i would only recommend if you car lighter works as the downside is that it goes flat fairly quickly, other then that it is really good value for money and works very well and fairly easy to use

A bit difficult to use... not like Garmin or Tom Tom but once the set up is mastered the navigation works well with very clear and distinct directions. The price of the XGODY is a great plus in its favour.Read full review...

Cheap and nasty.

Cannot use with polaroid sunglasses on while driving as cannot read screen. settings too vague and complicated to use. Going back to my old Garmin.

Works well. Care should be taken to avoid scuffing the screen. This is no problem unless you are regularly swapping between vehicles.

This product works well enough once you get it configured. The problem with that is the instructions are very brief and the process not as 'intuitive' as it could be. If you hadn't used similar items in the past, it would be difficult for something that works well enough.Read full review...
