The extra section that makes this version "large" is a waste of time since nothing will fit in in, not tubes or tools or even the lightest weight gillet, therefore, although the main section is smart and robust and totally awesome, upgrading to the large version is pointless in my opinion. it might work if the extra section was just an extra section of tubing vs and a cup which is limiting. Really handy if like me you sometimes need extra storage. Surprising how much you can fit into its largest capacity with the extension section screwed on, this has a removable inner base so it acts as a separate smaller container to the main body. Or remove the inner base for longer items like a mini pump.
The extension section can be omitted completely, screw the lid onto the main body for storage of around the size of a 500ml bottle. With the extension piece fitted it's around the size of a 750ml bottle.
Made of good quality thick plastic it should take a hammering & fits securely in my Elite bottle cage. Very useful & versatile piece of kit.Read full review...
