Easy installation with a few basic tools. I upgraded from smaller Zodiac Unit. Excellent build quality. Be sure to remove outer cover of cell unit before installing. Just clicks off and on.

Zodiac fault

Makes a humming noise when timer is off ,transformer still active. Zodiac looked at it said it was normal,because I brought it on line no replacement, i have to put up with it.

Compared to other Chlorinators in this range, the Zodiac represents great value for money with a proven history. Easy setup and use and does what it's supposed to do. Am very happy with the unit and the price I paid. I bought one for my sister 2 years ago and have been very happy with that unit as well. I replaced my 6 year old Poolrite Surechor 4000 with this Zodiac because the Poolrite was ridiculously expensive to maintain. Easy to install by cutting off old chlorinator and then gluing on new one. Wait 24 hours and it's ready to use. Super-Chlorinate option is very useful. Runs for 24 hours at a higher rate and "shocks" the pool. Highest chlorine output on any model I found at 40 grams. Highly recommended!Read full review...
