Give yourself back hours a week and get a beautiful looking pool thrown in.
Loving it so far. Have only used a few times but does everything we want it to do, easy to set up and love watching it climb the walls and make it's way out of tight spots. Potentially great product but didn’t work for me
First, I have to thank Pool and Spa Warehouse. I bought the product online based on reviews. It turned out that the plumbing for my large pool didn’t allow enough suction to drive the MX8. I reported the issue to the seller and after a few emails they very graciously agreed the unit didn’t suit my pool and organised a full refund. I am very happy with the seller since it wasn’t their fault. Ultimately, if the marketing blurb or past reviewers had mentioned to check the pump pressure at the intake end then I may have thought twice and checked it prior to purchase.
In any case, it would have been exactly what my pool needed had it worked, since I could see it was sucking up the debris and dirt without disturbing its surrounds. Just needs a lot more pressure than my intake was providing, even though my pump is actually top of the line. It just couldn’t drive enough water through the narrow plumbing.
All in all, 3 stars represents the result and not so much the product .. and mostly because the seller was very responsive and fair.Read full review...

Zodiac MX8
The MX8 is quite fast and doesn’t get stuck on corners and I have a kiddy rail and the MX8 climbs over this to the tile level. Impressive.
Only issue if you have those long palm trees, which can get cause within the gears and stops the MX8 from cleaning.
I ended up cutting the palm leaves away and problem solved.
Worth the money as I purchased one of me and one for my dad’s pool.

Bought this to replace an old G2 Barracuda cleaner that I had repaired numerous times. Have had the MX8 MK2 running for almost a month and can honestly say it does a far better job and actually cleans our pebblecrete pool including the waterline but it does have a few issues climbing our small 3x step entry at the shallow end.
Spares are plentiful online which is why I went this way as opposed to a full $2000 plus robot machine.
