Great U title, but…

I was expecting a FPS type zombie game but was pleasantly surprised by the more survival aspect it has. It’s definitely a slow burn game, needing to find supplies, ammo, and bases to bunker while avoiding the horde. It looks great and plays real well though the telling of the gamepad can be annoying. Very Boring

I thought I would be able to get into this game. I had to force myself to play it a few times so I could best it. But I'm only halfway through the game. Its just not what I expected in a zombie game. The concept is a great idea, using the gamepad to find hidden items. But just have the same melee weapon throughout the whole game is terrible.Read full review...

Zombie U

Best survival game on the market so far.

A great game that showcases the Wii U's ability to be a great gaming console. Set in the streets of london, you have to defend your life and resources from the undead. Use the Bug out Bag to supply yourself and prepare for what lurks around every corner. This is the most mentally challenging of any survival game out there. I thought the multiplayer mode was too limited. For example: You can only have two people playing at a time with only two modes to play. Great horror game for Wii U; great implementation of the gamepad. Scary!

I am enjoying this game a lot. When looking at most Wii U titles, developers right now utilize the Wii U Gamepad in the least creative ways (maps and weapons). Ubisoft's utilization of the Wii U Gamepad is something developers should use as a foundation. No maps and weapons only. This game makes the Gamepad at times a Dual Screen. You can view the environment both on the TV and Gamepad simultaneously. I only wish that this game had off-screen play.

ZombiU--horror game. The graphics are absolutely spectacular--almost reminiscent of that of Battlefield 3. The gameplay is very good; the atmosphere is very chilling, and it causes paranoia. Dark sewers, echoing subways, streets drenched with falling rain accompanied with thunder and lightning...the atmosphere is perfect. You think you are safe for one moment, then all of a sudden you find yourself running for the nearest route back to the Safe House...and hopefully once you get there, there are no zombies trying to invade the House.

The Death mechanic is great. Once you die, you come back as a brand new survivor, and your immediate mission is to kill your previous survivor--who is now a zombie--and collect all your items/loot again. You even see other players' now zombiefied-surviors throughout the levels thanks to a genius, implementation of online features.

I fear playing this game (big baby), but I can't seem to put it down. A must-have game.Read full review...

Super fun and intuitive use of the Wii U gamepad. The second screen is used in an inventive and useful way; you can use it to check your inventory, watch out for zombies, and update yourself on mission objectives.

Very, very cool!

It's a good and underrated game! The graphics are just good, but combine with the game environment. The game have a good use of Gamepad and the idea of start the game with other character when you die are very cool. The zombies scare you in some situations, the scenario is dark and apocalyptic.

It's a little difficult, but for me this is a positive point. Deserve a continuation, but with actual scenario of thirds on Nintendo Wii U, it's next to impossible.Read full review...
