Not OEM quality but adequate.
It is an obvious aftermarket item which is really lightweight compared to the BMW fuel cap. BMW have (petrol fuel cap) green inner section, this is black (as diesel fuel cap). BMW handle is quality heavyweight plastic, this is child's toy quality. It does fit E46 BMW but don't expect to be happy with your purchase if you want like-for-like.

Almost perfect fit
The filler cap is a perfect replacement for the original, but the security lead that stops you loosing the cap ( which is why I needed a new one !) is a loose fit and comes away very easily
