Super cool tool every machinist needs

For part repeatability or duplication of any kind this is a must have tool. Get yourself a ceramic plate and you will have a good surface to measure off. There are ways to be more accurate but this will get you a step up where you were not previously using one. The construction is good, it’s solid, no plastic, has a nice edge to scribe against, I really can’t say anything negative. They supply two batteries to get you started. Take care of it and don’t knock it over. The only thing I may do when measuring is clamp it to the granite so my clumsiness doesn’t bump it.Read full review...

Does what I need, quick turnaround, good deal.
