Outstanding Flashlight

I have purchased 3 "other" brands of flashlights prior to this one, all with lousy performances. It's too bad I didn't find this one first. It is far superior to any others I bought! The brightness is so much brighter and has great distance as well as adjustable pinpoint accuracy. We were able to locate our neighbors cat over 50' high in a tree. I've read some bad reviews but why?

I bought the three pack b/c I needed small but bright flashlights placed around my house with the storm season coming. Plus, this is great for when I have to walk my dog at night. I placed the order when I saw the sale but didn't read any reviews. After I placed the orders, I read some negative reviews and started to think I had made a mistake. I had read that some ppl received knock-offs, units without the "Bell&Howell" label on it and how the power button broke after only several uses. Naturally, after I got the flash lights, I immediately took them all out and tested every one of them. I tested the power button on the rear many times in quick succession as well as cycling through all the modes and zooms. The build on every one of them felt solid. The only criticism i have is with the battery sled. They could have designed it so it sits very snug in the body and would have a slight rattle when you shake it. I have used one of them every day so far and nothing has broke on me or malfunctioned. For me these worked out great (so far) and boy are they BRIGHT! There are brighter ones out there that is a step up but these are more than enough if you are not using it for some professional tactical purpose. Though, I still think it is enough even for that!

Overall, I would recommend these to friends and family. Obviously if you were sent knock-offs/fakes, then your experiences will not be the same but if you got the authentic Bell&Howell Taclight, you will not be disappointed. Read full review

Sturdy Light

I like this little dude. Very rugged and strong. The light is super bright. I don't know how long the battery will last, which is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating. One great feature is that it has a strap attached. I always have this nagging fear that I'll be running through the woods being chased by a bear, or horde of zombies and that I will drop either my knife, or gun, or flashlight in the swelling river. Excellent light for the price. Worth every cent.

Everybody should own a couple of these. As an Emergency Team Manager, I find that at any time after dark these lights may save a life. Keep one by each door to the outside and one in your car. I carry one in bag and have used it to help find hard to locate items for other people.

Suggest buying additional batteries, at least one extra for each light, so when you have to charge you still have a good light.Read full review

Very bright, but not for long.

This flashlight is very powerful, but the batteries run low too fast. It also has too many different lights so you have to go through all of them to shut it off.

They work great you can light up from far away the only thing I didn't care for was the charger for the battery.
