Cromwell (DVD, 1970)

Great historical drama

The revolution in England led by Cromwell is well told in this epic drama. I don't buy movies I haven't already viewed and enjoyed on TV or in the theater. My expectations were met.

Cromwell is Historic!

Cromwell is one of those relatively unknown big budget costume dramas of the late 60's and 70's that executes itself very well. All the actors are pro's and the sets are lavish. Not a musical like Dr. Zhivago, but more like Lawrence of Arabia...

Great historical drama that has aged well
