What a project! This is Kevin's first directorial try and its a winner all around. He painstakingly sets each scene to tell one of the most hauntingly told stories in American film. A Classic. Wish I hadn't waited so long to watch it. You definitely need subtitles with this one to get the full affect as all of the Native American roles are spoken in Lakota Sioux.
