Best Outta Three
This book is actually third in a series. The first book being "Thicker than Water" followed by "Colder than Ice" and now we have "Darker than Midnight." By far the best out of three. You do not need to read the other two as each story can stand independantly of the others. In fact I read this one first and so enjoyed the characters that I had to get the rest to find out more. Jax the femal cop of this story is one sassy and sexy babe, her tell it like it is attitude makes feel a little more prouder about being a woman this book has you one edge from the very beginning and just when you think you've got it figured out, you'll be pleasantly surprised you were wrong.Read full review...
Great story plot, a must read!
Wow I really loved this book so much! Always have been a Maggie Shayne fan and that is the reason that I bought this book.I really loved the turns and twists that were in this novel!The characters were all so realistic that I really would love to read a story about each and everyone of them.Highly recommend this book to all of you that want to get sucked in to a fantastic story!Read full review...

This is a true Eve Duncan mystery. It leaves you wondering what is in the next book. What is going to happen to Eve & Joe. I have everyone of these books and look forward to the next.
