Dell EM7455 4G WWAN Card Module

All fine, but had to resort to very deep tech knowledge to make it work

The stock firmware is very old, USB identifiers are Dell-specific, the USB configuration has everything locked incl. the AT port and the modem simply does not power up in Linux environment (which does not care about Dell-specific identifiers). I had to resort to engineering-grade tooling to set the normal USB configuration, flash the latest firmware and unlock the modem to make it power up.Read full review
