Best model putty
I had heard many good things about this product. Read several good reviews about it also. It`s a product that for once, truly lives up to the hype!
It is easy to use, is water soluble, no smell. The tube holds more than you would think. It drys fairly quickly, depending of course on the amount to be used. As with any putty, you HAVE to let it cure out completely before working further with it.
I build models, and I use this specifically on my aircraft models, so far. I`m sure I`ll find many other uses for it on my armor models as well.
Once I apply it to a join line needing putty, I simply take a wet Q-tip, and smooth over the joint. There is very little sanding, if any, required.
Now, if the join line is really not good, your going to have to sand regardless. This product sands very easily, and you can achieve a super smooth surface with it, with patience and care.
Two things to watch out for:
When you smooth it out with a wet Q-tip, some of it will become liquefied, and run. Clean this up immediately, and completely. As it will settle into panel lines and detail, and re-set up when dry.
Do NOT wet sand this product at all!! Being water soluble, it will re-activate the `dry` putty, and will strip off much more than you intend.
I can HIGHLY recommend this product!!Read full review

Excellent Plastic Putty
Very good for filling plastic model kit parts. Stays soluble so you can reform it and contour it and sand it. Some other putties dry to fast and hard making them impossible to sand or takes to long. It never cracks or expands. Can use any type of paint on it: Acrylic, enamel or lacquer. It comes in a tube and is very covenant and easy to use. Thanks.Read full review
Perfect Plastic Putty
I have used many types of fillers for plastic models. This is by far the best gap filler I have found. It apply's easily, dries quickly, and is easily worked and cleaned up with a paper towel and water. I cannot for the life of me understand how a product this good goes unnoticed. Buy and use with confidence. You will not be disappointed.Read full review

PPP is what you need to fill the Gaps and repair gouges
Works excellently washes off of skin with plain water fills Gaps and Gouges dries in minute and is very sandable and paintable, all day long. The only thing that's not so hot is the provided applicator which is good for a single use because there's no cap for it so if you don't clean it immediately after you use it well dry shut permanently.Read full review

Solid, reliable putty for most instances
This is the second time I've purchased this putty and I'm happy to see the packaging has changed. The first version used a poly-plastic tube and my putty dried in the tube; not that it was unusable, but thicker. The new, metal "toothpaste tube" style package promises fresher putty. The putty itself is great, having the consistency of drywall joint compound. Easy to apply and spread, cleans up with water. It builds up well, adheres well and can be smoothed with a cotton swab, cotton ball, or a small rag dampened with a little water. It sands very quickly, so you have to be judicious when sanding with sandpaper or sanding stick.
There are some places where a glazing putty could be better and others where Perfect Plastic Putty performs beyond the call, but I see them all as different tools for different jobs. For quick set up, quick shaping/contouring, and quick cleanup are paramount, this is a go-to product.Read full review

Best putty ever!
Easily applied and shaped. Love the water clean up. Much better than other model putty I have used over the last 10 years or building WW II aircraft.

I love this stuff
This is super easy to work with. It is water based so you don't have the solvent smell. It is easily shaped and smoothed with a wet Q-tip. It can be easily squirted exactly where you need it with the company's syringe kit. (recommended) Obviously it can not be wet sanded, but the upsides are well worth it to me.Read full review

Messy but works well
The putty works great at filling in seams on my model FA-18E Hornet. It has very little smell to it and dries quickly. It is messy to work with though, and I don’t use the tip applicator included; you would waste a lot of putty inside the applicator if you used it. I tend to just take a bit of the putty, and use a spatula to put the putty in. Then I smooth it out. When you paint over the putty, it blends in with the model very well. It doesn’t even look like putty was put there.Read full review

Good for Scale Modeling
Great on scale models. Dries fast, so you can sand it the same day. I used it on two models, but have not painted on it yet. From what I hear it holds paint well. I will give it at least a day to dry before painting as it is acrylic.Read full review
