Quick delivery, easy to set up and use, works well
This product allowed me to take my SSD from a dead laptop, and convert it to a 256 GB external storage. It will be great for whenever I need to transfer large quantities of data from one computer to another, or to make a temporary backup while I do an OS upgrade.Read full review

A great way to re-use the SSD from an upgraded PC/Laptop
A great way to re-use the SSD from an upgraded PC/Laptop. Install your old SSD from your laptop upgrade and use it as a portable USB drive. Convenient, small package, easy USB plug in. Small screw driver allows you to open/close the enclosure and mount your SSD securely inside the enclosure.Read full review

Definitely something that can provide large amount of storage in small package!
Very small but solidly made. I always use grounding strap before touching electronic innards. Just remove 2 screws on side where cable will connect, Pull out end plate and slide board out.Normally I can undo the back nut by hand but needed little pliers to start undoing; don't let nut or washer drop but put aside for a few seconds/minutes. Mount the M.2 SSD card onto small electronic board. Look at the fingers and try to determine correct method to mount; I think they will only go one way on the board.and usually I am angled to board as it slides into socket. Then fit the half moon into the goove in the nut and attach the small "bolt" from the back side through the hole in the board. Once it is hand tight, slide it in the grooves to get it into the enclosure. I think it can only go one way so if it is not going smoothly, turn it over and hopefully it goes all the way in. Next put the little end plate on followed by the 2 small screws you took out earlier. Attach the cable and you are ready to go! Enjoy.Read full review

Works Great
These NGFF SATA III M.2 hard drives aren't very common these days,
with the newer NVME M.2 hard drives. But I had one laying around and
am glad I found an external case for it. Small, so it's easy to carry around.Read full review

works great, but front plate did not fit exactly flush
the front plate was a bit not perfectly fitting to the case, so the screws would not screw in flush, but is essentially a minor issue and the device works great.

Other enclosures failed. This one worked...
Other enclosures failed. This one worked perfectly with all my devices and all PCs. It does seem to get very warm and may benefit from better heat sinking.
