It REALLY Works!!!

I bought the beacon as a project. It came with all of the pieces and I rehab’d the entire beacon including the orignal beacon top. The fins had been bent all kinds of ways and were about to break off. Long story short, I tried any number of ways to get the beacon to spin but I never got the fins bent to were it allowed the top to rotate. Well, this new reproduction works great! Well Constructed but Does Not Operate!

This product is well constructed I think compared with some other rotary beacons I have had but I cannot get it to operate. I have tried everything I know of to get it to revolve without sucess.

A delicate piece, works great.

When you apply the correct voltage to the bulb, it heats air which escapes through the vanes and spins the beacon. The vanes and pin that make it all happen are delicate and shouldn't be in hands that drop or bend things. Otherwise, it works great.Read full review

Beacon light rotates

Works well needs at least 12 to 14 volts of power for the heat to turn the bulb. Sometimes will need a little push start to start the turning process.
