Bible For Crafters

i was visiting my daughter and used this book to do crafts with my grandkids. We learned to make bead bugs and flowers following simple directions and illustrations. my seven year old grandaughter, on her own, made six little, cute bugs before i left. Right then and there i decided to purchase this book. I was able to look up this wonderful craft dictionary on ebay and it was VERY affordable for me. The projects in this book are endless and exciting for a crafting gramma like me. Some i only dream about, like marbling, but others are very doable and very exciting. Illustrations in this big book of crafts are excellent, as are the clear and concise directions. Crafts available are paper crafts, paper and clother flowers, polymer clay projects, sewing projects, and many more craft projects that are way too numerous to mention. Amazing craft reference book for your home library.

I was doing a couple of craft projects which I was not very familiar with and had checked out 13 books from my local library. This Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of Crafts was one of those books and it was such a great book I just had to have one for my personal home library. I began to do some research to buy one and when I checked eBay, the prices were better than anywhere else that I looked, so I ordered one.

I love this product. The pictures are wonderful as well as the information so I have had no trouble in completing my craft projects.

A great book with lots of craft ideas for young and old!

I'd borrowed this book from my local library just to find a few projects to make after I'd become an empty-nester. Low and behold, I loved the book so much I had to buy it! I've made soaps, bath salts, and other projects for myself as well as for gifts, and I'll eventually use many of Martha's ideas for the future spa business I'll someday own and grow. A great encyclopedia style book, pretty enough to be out on your coffee table. Of course not every single craft in the world can fit in one book, but this comes pretty close. Great to have around when you need ideas. In Martha Stewart style, each page is beautiful with her text surrounded by gorgeous color photographs. Nice instructions, stencils, and patters are also included. What would we do without Martha?Read full review...

Nice book.

Nice book,But I think Martha could of done a better job. I think it is a basic craft book.
I f you want a great book buy( The Big Ass craft book) this is a Wonderful book !
I bought 2 more of this book for my sister and mom after my 1st purchase..I am telling you this because i have stacks of craft books hundreds and this is a must ! it has a funny title and your kids might ask why it sais the word ass,but a gr8 book.ok enough of this book ...Thanks in OhioRead full review...

Martha Stewart's Encyclodpedia of Crafts

Upon receiving the book, I went thru it once looking and reading the different crafts. The next day I went thru it again, tagging the projects I would like to do. Many are with my 7yr daughter who is very artistic and craftsy. Many items we already have in my craft room, so it was easy to start them. Others require a trip to the craft store, but its no big deal.
