Nice
As far as I know long plate tubes emphasize the base and highs, where short plate tubes emphasize the mids. Here you get a non-disappointing sound, a subtle warmer difference between the two. Either type are satisfying. If you bought a new piece or equipment and it came with generic Chinese tubes toss the and upgrade to these, they will be a friend to your ears. I have bought several different brands and for contemporary tubes I really like them. Tubes are cheap enough try several and you will see. I also like new old stock GE. RCA, and Sylivania. The only problem with old tubes is a pair may not sound exactly the same even if they are matched and from age can have hum, crackle, or other distortions.
The Mullards are a good choice and come highly recommended.Read full review...

performance AX-7 vacuum tubes
These are great tubes , and getting increasingly rare . For audio performance ,I try to get the best available , new old stock . This tube is particularly good for the purpose . I get some stored away . When you need them, you need them.
My application is the Fender Twin Reverb amplifier ,1968 vintage. Pretty much all tubes are 12 AX 7 . My situation is satisfied. Best regards, Dan B

Rock n Roll" 12aX7 Tubes!
12aX7 Tubes are the first tone, I like a nice Bell Tone, these worked fine...my old pre amp tubes in the TH30 Orange would go Flat after a good warm up...always use Fresh Tubes, like fresh Strings in your Music setup youll be glad you did. I like the Long Plates and I will probly try a set of Sovteck short plates later.Read full review...

Mullard ECC83 are my favorite new issue tubes
Mullard new issue ECC83 (12AX7) long plate tubes are the only ones that I will use in my Hughes & Kettner TubeMeister 18. They give this amp an organic, almost "woody" tone.

Millard 12ax7 delivering as advertised.
I am very surprised at the great sound quality and it really does well with unwanted noise. I am using the trio for my turntable preamp.

Excellent reproductions of the originals.
Tubes work well and solved the left channel problem. I fact, I replaced all the tubes in the Dynaco PAS 3X preamp which was long overdue. These Mullards went a long way in helping to solve the problem of weak tubes.Read full review...
